An animated presentation of the book “From the Alps to the Andes – Stories of Immigrants, Missionaries, Poets, and Explorers,” a collection of testimonies and documents related to the emigration from the Val Menaggio to South America. Curated by Pietro Berra, journalist and president of the Sentiero dei Sogni association, the book involved two schools from both hemispheres: the Vanoni Institute of Menaggio and the Italian School “Verdi” in Copiapó, Chile. The presentation will take place in the auditorium of the first-level secondary school and will include projections, testimonies, and readings.
