It is easily accessible by car, on foot, or by bicycle; parking is available nearby.
Inaugurated in 2010 through the collaboration between the Municipality of Valguarnera Caropepe and the Associazione Valguarneresi nel Mondo (Valguarneresi in the World Association), the Valguarnera Ethno-Anthropological and Emigration Museum is housed in Palazzo Prato, an elegant early-20th-century historic residence.
The Museum preserves a rich collection of objects and tools related to work in the fields and sulfur mines, domestic life, and artisanal traditions.

A central theme of the collection is Valguarnera emigration, part of a phenomenon that deeply affected Sicily and Italy.
The Associazione Valguarneresi nel Mondo (Valguarneresi in the World Association) sees the Museum as a tool for education and historical awareness, especially aimed at younger generations.
