An unmissable experience for culture lovers: from the Turin Book Fair (May 15-19, 2025), a reference point for literature, to the Reggia di Venaria, a masterpiece of art and history. An itinerary that combines a passion for books with the timeless beauty of Piedmont.

Turin is preparing to host one of the most anticipated cultural events of the year: the International Book Fair, which will take place from May 15 to 19, 2025, at Lingotto Fiere. This event, one of the most important in the Italian and European literary scene, has always been a meeting point for readers, writers, publishers, and intellectuals. This year, the chosen theme is “Le parole tra noi leggere” (“The words between us, reading”), a tribute to the novel by Lalla Romano and a line from Eugenio Montale, aiming to explore the value of words in contemporary society. The Fair will be inaugurated by the famous French writer and playwright Yasmina Reza. Over the five days of the event, Lingotto will become a true temple of literature, with meetings, debates, book signings, and presentations featuring some of the most important names in the editorial world.

However, a trip to Turin for the Book Fair can become an even more complete experience, combining a passion for culture with the discovery of the artistic and architectural heritage of the region. Just a few kilometers from the city is a place of extraordinary beauty: the Reggia di Venaria Reale. It is one of the most fascinating Savoy residences, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 17th century as a hunting lodge for Duke Carlo Emanuele II, it is now a masterpiece of art and architecture that enchants visitors with its lavish halls and meticulously kept gardens. But what makes the experience even more captivating is the discovery of the gardens, a perfect blend of historical elements and modern landscaping.

Attending the Turin Book Fair and visiting the Reggia di Venaria Reale means embarking on a journey that has its roots in the culture and history of Piedmont. While the pages of books open new perspectives, the Reggia offers a deep connection with the artistic and historical traditions of the area.
