A 500 km path through forests, sanctuaries, and majestic peaks that offers a journey combining nature, history, and spirituality in the heart of the Belluno Dolomites.

The Veneto region enriches its tourism offer with a new exceptional hiking route: the Dolomite Trail, a 500 km loop divided into 30 stages that crosses some of the most breathtaking landscapes of the Belluno Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This immersive itinerary takes you through pristine nature, authentic villages, and places rich in historical, cultural, and spiritual significance.

The trail follows paths and secondary roads, offering a slow, mindful travel experience, away from the crowds of mass tourism. Each stage unveils unique sites: from the Sanctuary of Saints Martyrs Victor and Corona, the starting point of the journey, to the birthplace of Pope John Paul I in Canale d’Agordo, the mining site of Val Imperina, and the Vajont Dam, a symbol of Italy’s collective memory.

Traversing centuries-old forests, enchanted valleys, and towering peaks, the Dolomite Trail becomes a journey into the beauty of the alpine landscape—an opportunity to reconnect with nature and the history of these extraordinary places.
